Building of a Cribbage Board

I wanted to show you the steps we follow when making our custom cribbage boards.

Choose the wood…
It all starts with picking out a piece of wood for the board. There are many types that work well but it should be a hardwood. Most popular types of wood that we use are Walnut, Maple, Cherry and Mahogany. All have their benefits and it really comes down to preferred color and style.

Pick the style….
Picking the style. The four most popular kinds that we make are (from top left clockwise) racetrack boards, river boards, plain boards and logo inlay boards. All but the racetrack ones have an optional card and peg base.
